Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Ring

This lovely early 20th century ring is set with bright round-cut sapphires and diamonds in an openwork setting which exudes beauty and elegance.  

The sapphires and diamonds are set in platinum which is decorated with millegrain edging, a classic style from this period. The shoulders and band are made of luxurious 18ct yellow gold which works really well with the gemstones and adds a touch of richness.  

Sapphires and diamonds are known for their hardness in gemmology and the platinum rub-over setting makes this ring ideal for everyday wear. It would make a fantastic engagement or forever ring or as we say at BV a who needs a reason ring!   

Diamond and sapphire are the birthstones for April and September respectively and so it could also be considered a joyful gift for someone born in these months.  

The setting measures 0.8cm diameter and the ring is a size P.
