This is a lovely Victorian amethyst pendant on a gold chain, that have been added later.  Amethysts are such a lovely deep purple colour, and this pendant has a beautifully delicate setting which really shows off the gemstone. 

Set in 9ct yellow gold the setting compliments the amethyst really well and this piece is perfect for any occasion.
